I'm pretty bored, so I'm setting up a little experiment to see if having visitors using the Alexa Toolbar installed makes a large amount of differrence to Alexa rankings. Currently most of the visitors to my site don't have the Alexa Toolbar installed, so the experiment should have at least a minimal indication to show if it plays the role. The Experiment: I need everyone that have the Alexa Toolbar installed to visit http://www.spacewallpapers.net over the next couple of days. The experiment will last for 7 days after which I'll compare the results to see if there has been a noticeable improvement in ranking. You don't need to visit repeatedly or frequently during the period. So if you guys have the time to spare please help me out for the fun of it! Alexa Ranking at start of experiment: 384,111
Funny thing, I did the same thing with one of my low traffic websites, where very few people use alexa. I just went to my website maybe 3-4 times per da, that's it.=. It went down from 1,800,000 average, to 800,000 1 wk average, in only three days. But lower the number, lower the difference will be. But it does make a difference. I'll help you out.
Thanks. I don't really care much for the Alexa ranking, but thought it might make for a nice experiment in any case. Boredom can do strange things to people
No need for the experiment cause i have tested it before and works. So wont be installing alexa spyware toolbar again lol.
