Buying Quick $6 - Have a WP / Hosting problem - EASY fix for someone in the know I imagine!

Right, i'm half brain-dead when it comes to techie stuff. Especially databases, hosting etc.

Problem I have - I was testing a WP theme for my html website because I wanted to transfer it..but I wanted to test it on another domain first so that I was happy. Did that and was happy with the theme.

I basically tried to create a new database for my html website but it wouldn't work for whatever reason..So I thought screw it and just pointed the wp-config file to the same database as the domain i tested the theme on.

So I began transferring my html site with the method used here : http://www.cybercoded.net/convert-static-html-site-to-wordpress-easily/

Now after i completed the transfer (well not quite completed..I put a "2" on the end of the links in case things weren't perfect) the test domain looks perfect but the html site with the transfers homepage looks atrocious..like a mish mash or posts..really wierd and i cant figure it out.

It is probably an easy fix for someone who wants to help. I think it is probably an issue at host level rather than wp.

Maybe a quick skype chat would fix it? Anyone interested gimme a PM or reply to the thread please thanks!
