Well guys this has been one great contest and we've reached the semi-finalist round. We've seen so many wonderful designs that it's been extremely hard for us to choose among them and we wish we were rich so we could award everybody a prize. Before announcing our two semi-finalists we'd like to give Dakouten, MantisArt, Gipanuhotko and You_love_me44 the respect they deserve and a very honorable mention. All of these designers showed oodles of talent, embody exactly the kind of personality and unique flair we were hoping to see and their designs are nothing short of superb so I'd like to say thank you and take my hat off to each and every one of you!

Our two semi-finalists (presented in alphabetical order) are, ScorpianAgency and Zyndtel and this is going to be one very quick round because both designs are almost perfect except for a few very minor changes.

ScorpianAgency, yes, yes, yes, the changes you made are excellent but can you limit the number of colors to four e.g. the pink, blue, yellow and green.

Zyndtel, what I meant about the name in your original design was to delete the white space between the letters and the black outline but to leave the black outline in (e.g. the black touching the colored letters to emphasize them) and lastly, can you remove the reflection underneath.

Hi. I provided two the other one with thin outline and the one with a little darker to balance with the mascot.

 

Well folks, we've come to that point in a contest where a winner must be chosen. Choosing and making a decision has not been easy for us. Both designs and designers have stood up admirably to every challenge and criteria we could think of or throw at them and each has made selecting a winner an exceedingly difficult task.

We think both your designs are so good and deserving that at times my wife and I have thrown up our arms in frustration and even considered just using a coin toss to settle the matter but ultimately felt that in light of all your efforts, doing so just wouldn't be fair. Instead we asked family and friends, even took both drawings to a local school where my wife teaches to help us decide. We found that everyone we asked, young or old, student or teacher had exactly the same problem we did in declaring one design as being better than the other.

Therefore, it is our unanimous consensus, along with that of fifteen other people that both designs deserve to win, so instead of declaring a tie or offering a first and second prize we prefer to, and do hereby proclaim, both designs and designers to be our winners!

We'd like to recognize and make special mention about ScorpianAgency's tenacity, the sheer number of creative concepts that were offered along with an obviously seasoned professionalism that was exemplified in this contest. Again, thank you to everyone for participating, to DP for providing the venue for such a wonderful contest and we hope everyone has found it as enjoyable and fun as we have.
