Hello Everybody! I need a logo for an app. Please make it square 1080p x 1080p. The app is about cats, and adding captions to pictures. I am thinking a cute/fat cat as the feature. I will give feedback as they come so look at the comments to see how the ideas evolve. I will choose a winner as soon as we are happy with a design. We are looking for a short contest. Flat design and simple logos are preferred. We want it to look clean and simple. The Color pallete is open at this point, please use your creative abilities. I know have run contests here before and love the work you do. Please ask all questions in the thread, no pm'ed questions or submissions will be accepted. PSD files and vector images are preferred. Here is some feedback: @MrRooT I like the simple colors, can you make it more square, look at some other submissions please @Meghraj Thats a unique take on a cat and very creative! The app wil focus more on the caption part and less on the taking picture, so the camera might not be as relevant. I like it, just might not be for this project @wend666 I like the simple design, It fits the Flat criteria,CAn you try some other color palette? Maybe a different body? @alaane This is very simple i like that. Can you try doing a little more with the head? THis is a strong contender.
great work guys! Things are looking good, we are just waiting for one to jump off the page for us. I like what I see, the flat design it's what we are after, I like minimal detail, mostly outline and basic shapes like game lot add an alaane shadows, like ptry using whiscars instead of eyes, the color palette is still open so be creative, thanks!
You must understand, that as an mobile app icon, it'll be scaled down a lot. Meaning that all tiny details, such as whiskers, will be aesthetically lost. I'm sorry, but I'm done working on this project. Potential prize/time spent isn't just optimal anymore. Good luck other contestants.
I understand alaane, let mw clarify, yea they are small on the phone but they can be seen if exaggerated. Also on the app store. I will still consider your submission, I hope you best of luck
