coolahmed: thanks for the entry. Great concept but I feel the execution is not as great as the concept. The concept is creative but I think if I didn't know in advance the second word was meant to be hook I wouldn't see it. You would need to bring the H in hook lower and perhaps make the H bigger so that it would read Hook. I'm not asking for changes but just providing feedback.

DrDesigner: the top one looks better now with purple. The bottom one also looks good but the top one is definitely a much more superior logo.

CoDeN: thanks for the submission. The font looks good but I'm not so sure about the dumbell. The dumbell is a little too stylish to match the (great) rugged looking font.

shweetish #20: sorry but this one looks like you tried a touch too hard. It is still a pleasant logo but a touch harder to read it (especially the larry hook part)

Creative #22: they all look good. The only one that's a touch hard to read is the bottom one. Very strong entries.

watari: thanks for entering this. Looks good and stylish, but I was after something a little more rugged, a little more tough looking. Yours is a very pleasant entry and although it's not what I initially asked for it's still something I will consider.

CoDeN: an improvement but just. The font looks good and looks much better than the icon. The font may be strong enough to win by itself without actually needing the icon. I will check with the guys tomorrow (my time - for me tomorrow starts in about 1 hour) and will let you know.

For anyone else considering this I want to thank you in advance but this contest will finish in 24hrs from the original post in this thread. I may not be able to come back with more feedback for a few hours. That is because where I live (Australia) we usually get some rest between evening and morning But you can be assured your entries will receive feedback once the sun rises in this side of the world.

Creative #26: once again looks good but once I click on the image to see it larger it doesn't show it. Nevertheless I can see it looks good.

StealthGFX: thanks for the participation. It looks good and stylish but it's missing that rough/rugged look that I am after. That is because this gym is a tough boys gym

se_p800: great entry and very creative. There is nothing I can find fault with. It looks really good, creative, stylish and it still has a rugged look. Great work.

I will reply to you guys in the morning. I must say there are some fantastic entries and I only wish I had a bigger budget than the mere $10 on offer because your designs are awesome.

larrytheloafer: thanks for the entries. The shadow of the guy doesn't look too bad. However, the font that you used is not what I am after. Maybe it's just me and I don't mean to offend you but the font you used looks to me like something you would use for a porn logo. Your logo just doesn't have that rugged look I am after.

stealthGFX: I appreciate the new ones but I think you tried a touch too hard. They both look ok but I am not sure about that bit of paint dropping. Makes the logo seem a touch too rough.

DrDesigner: fantastic logo. Very good work. Looks 100times better in this landscape format. I can't wait to show it to my friend because he's the one choosing it.

onlyfights: thanks for the entry. It's a bit hard to judge because it's got a nice shade of purple but (and I may be wrong in saying this) it seems to look a touch cartoony and seems to miss that rugged look I am after.

I can't wait for my friend to wake up and show him the logos. You guys did some amazing logos. Trouble is my friend is in another state and different time zone so I don't think he would appreciate a 5am call. Will post as soon as I hear from him.
