QUICK $10 Logo Contest Must end in 24hrs only payment via paypal

Hi Guys,

I know this is a crappy price to offer but it's all that's been allocated for this logo. If the price is too low I understand but again that's all for this contest.

Requirements:

Logo name: Larry Hook Fitness

Colours: Purple - you may use other colours but it must be purple

Must have a modern look and a little rugged/rough look as it is for a tough boys gym

sarsh: thanks for entering this. In keping with my reputation for being a CH who provides feedback here's what I think: it looks good, it looks very stylish (that's the positive). I know the prize I am offering is crappy but the negative is it needed to be a tougher, rougher looking logo because it's for a tough boy's gym. And the only other downside which I see is Larry Hook should have been bigger and fitness smaller. Because I think the name should stand out more and then the nature of the business. Overall, a very pleasant design and thanks again for entering.

 

shweetish: thanks for the entry. The font looks good and stylish. The colour looks good too. I am just not sure about the cartoony arm. Doesn't seem to match the stylish font you used. I think it would have looked better without the arm which is a little cartoony. Although very stylish it would need to look a little more rough and tough somehow. I am not asking for changes (especially with the small prize), I am just giving feedback.

Yes. This is much better. Cleaner, neater and easier to read. Don't get me wrong I like symbols and icons and whatever as part of a logo except that arm wasn't somehow matching.

DrDesigner: thank you for the submission. Very stylish and very pleasant entry. Definitely worth (A LOT) more than the $10 I'm offering. There are some short comings though: it needed to be purple or at least have some purple in it. Also I'm wondering why of all the three great entries I received so far none of them have a rugged, tough, rough look. Because this logo is for a tough boys gym. DrDesigner: I am not asking for changes but I think your logo would have looked even better if it was in a more of a landscape format rather than a square one. Once again, a very impressive design.

you can submit as many entries as you wish or just work to improve the existing one. Please keep in mind this is a very small prize contest so I can't ask for much other than the colour and a tough/rough looking logo. If you would like to submit more than one you are more than welcomed to do so.

 

creative matthew: great entries. They are definitely heading in the right direction. Top one looks good but perhaps it needed to have the gray shadow reduced a little. The second one looks great and it's very tough to choose between this and the very first one. The third one looks ok, but I think that rather than look tough it just looks old. I am not sure if old and retro is the way to describe the bottom one but definitely the top two have more of the tough/rough look I am after.

sweetish, not grunge but more of a rugged look would be a better way to describe it.

pixobox: your entry looks good. It's a tough one to judge. That is because even though it's not exactly what I am after it nevertheless looks really good and stylish. Again, I am not asking for changes but just providing feedback: I just think the purple needed to be stronger and the overall design needed to be more rugged looking. But still, a very pleasant entry and thanks for entering this.
