Righty - i need a banner doing for my niche webmaster directory - http://www.voisd.com Banner needs to obviously reflect the content of my site 'Voisd Webmaster Directory' - preferably in gif format with some animation. Banner should obviously reflect the design of the site and you may obviously integrate screenshots of the site design for visual elements if needed. Banner size should be: 468x60 The choosen banner will recieve either $10 via paypal OR a sponsored listing on www.voisd.com worth $59.99 (needless to say an excellent prize if you have a webmaster/computer/internet related website). Obviously the reason for the slightly low paypal amount ($10) is due to the all the graphical components being avaliable on the website. Time limit? As long as it takes, although as soon as i see something i like, that person wins... the quicker the better though! Get designing
Good start, not too happy about the text though... would prefer something a bit more like the logo text which says 'web directory' - a little more corporate. Its definately in the right direction though w8amoment - will obviously see what other people come up with as well though... a bit of choice is always good! Also if someone can come up with some slogan ideas to incorporate into the design that would be great... something relating to high PR, improving your SERPs - i really want this banner to attract visitors as its going to be on a webmaster/SEO newsletter sent to roughly 500,000 subscribers!
Thats nice Sam - the best so far... although we dont offer free submissions unless its a reciprical If you could zoom up the circles a bit more (to make them stand out a bit more), possibly add some rotating text in the same still as a gif (so three images in total) that could well be what im looking for! The bit that says Voisd Webmaster Directory is great. If you could have the text underneath changing from: Quality Webmaster, Computer and Internet Links to High PR ranked sitewide pages! to Improve your SERPs and PR to Attract quality, targeted traffic! Unless of course you can think of some other suitable and catchy lines...
Its nice - although sam's is standing out as the leaders due to it using a nice font, contrasting text... if he can make the requests mods ill go with his i think - unless someone can come up with something outstanding before he posts the revision (which presumably/hopefully he will).
Almost very nearly there Sam If you could align the red text to the right... Move the Voisd Webmaster Directory a bit to the left (about 5ish pixels or something) to make it central between the last circle and the right edge of the banner and also move all the text up a bit so its central vertically.
