Questions on youtube

How do some people get to have a self-made banner on top of their name and their channel?
Also how do some people have videos that automatically play on their youtube page without clicking on it?

It's somewhere in your YouTube settings no? I have a YouTube music account and I know it's in the options somewhere. Might depend on the YouTube account.

You can see a banner they have beside the video.
If you click on the username, you will also see another banner as well as the video automatically playing.

yes,they can, because they make a playlist, "Favorites" is your default Playlist,but you can create as many as you want." "Playlists are collections of videos that can be watched on YouTube, shared with other people, or embedded into websites or blogs.then you can automatically play on your youtube page,
for example I have a playlist called "Good Songs" full of songs I like.

to make a playlist just go to youtubes homepage and on the left side there should be a little blue rectangle click "My playlist" in it and when you are taken there, there should be something on the right side of the screen that says "create playlist" click that

then fill out all the info and click "save playlist info"
f you wanna add a video to your playlist just go to the video you want, right under the video it should say "save to favorites" somewhere, click that then uncheck that box and under the box there should be something that says "Add Video to a Playlist" click the down arrow and choose you playlist and then press "ok" and its added to your playlist

if you want to find your playlist go to your youtube profile, near the top of your profile click "playlist" and your playlist should be there.

I always thought they got those banners cause they were a preferred partner content provider... am I wrong?

Also, does anyone know what the reason is for the "tags"? It seems like people also like to put lots of keywords in the description field above the tag. I wonder if they all get searched ?

 

Tags help your videos rank higher in search results. And yes, they all get indexed: name of the video + tags
