Question... I was wondering if there was any legal roadblocks or consequences for promoting online casinos. Even if I was to promote and target to countries outside of the United States, could I still promote casinos? Thank you in advance!!! Tom Howell
In a state court decision in KY it was ruled that advertising for gambling sites was not the same as operating them. In this case the state was attempting to seize domains owned by gamling sites. For now the state appears to have won, pending apeals. How this might reflect on the laws where you are is for you to determine.
It's legal to promote them but just somewhat challenging. Traditional advertising avenues, namely Google Yahoo! and Adcenter do not allow paid search marketing for gambling sites. It does take some creativity.
