Questions on Smartpricing

On one of my sites I've calculated the cost I am receiving per click has reduced by around 50% since last Thursday. Does this mean I've been smartpriced? I have another site in the same niche and that remains unaffected so I know its not the advertisers paying a lesser amount in that niche.

How long does smartprice last for? I've heard if you take the ads off a site for a period of time the smartpricing goes away, how long do you wait?

Is smartpricing an automatic thing or does someone actually press the button at Google?

Would be interested to hear people's view on smartpricing...:)

    Thanks.

Smart pricing affects your whole account and not individual site(s) so if nothing has change for your other site, so you are probably not smart priced but rather the advertiser has lowered his/her budget. Also, it can be the regular Adsense practice to keep the advertisers happy by lowering the CPC rate from time to time.
