I would appreciate help in answering a few questions i have. I am trying to figure out my target market and the approx of it.Mainly becuase I want to figure out what the potential growth is,and if there is any limitations. I am considering developing my idea I have for a web app. I will be developing a market research survey soon. And providing I teach myself rails,the closer i get to a working beta,i'll start releasing more info about the product. It is easy to get carried away and think i'll reach 1mill users..but then the real limit might only be 400,000(as an example). The questions are:- statistical- 1. How many individuals/groups(be it registered business's or business partners)are trying to make money online ? (through blogging,websites,affilliates) 2. How many people partner up online to make money either monthly,quarterly yearly? individual feedback- 3. Do you as a webmaster/website owner/online money maker/blogger/domaineer(or other category that makes money online in any form) use any web applications to help you make money and be more productive? and if so,what are they? 4. What do you look for as far as features,in a web app? ------------ *reason i ask what they are..it's possible i might be able to integrate those services in my web app(if they have a API) To be clear,I am not going to go into detail now about the idea. I know some ideas are best shared. In this case,i do not have the resources to quickly implement the idea into something working and if i was to share this amongst webmasters,especially becuase the target market is pretty much webmasters..i would be silly. I will say this-it is something i will use regardless of it's success. As far as my research goes,this doesn't exist anywhere i've seen yet. I appreciate any usable responses given. When Beta closes first 500 to register interest in continuing to a paid subscription will recieve 50% discount on first month. The remaining will get 25% discount. ~not sure if this will stick. any advice please let me know./or i'll more than likely create a separate thread on this.
