For those that are achieving more than 1000 impressions a day, by how many different keywords is your site being found through the search engines on a daily basis? Is there one main keyword that gets the bulk of the searches or is it more evenly distributed? Also how many keywords do you target and how many of them are at #1 spot to bring you that kind of traffic? Also what was the typical daily search for your main keyword when you ran it through your keyword tool before starting your site? I am asking since I don't know if my site with will have that capacity when I hit #1 for that main keyword and for the other 175 keywords that my site is being found. Right now I get about 200 impressions with my main keyword at #2. Do I just need get my main to #1 and then work on my keywords to get them to #1 to see that kind of traffic? I have already done the usual article marketing, directory submission, posted on blogs with my anchor, etc. Any feedback would be very helpful.
How long did it take you to get to that level for a daily basis? Did you first target one keyword and then optimized your site for rest of the keywords?
Each page is targeted to one keyword, but they end up bringing traffic from many keywords. That is from 3 sites, all under a year old.
For the top 4 keywords that I being found on the search engines, I am #3, #2, #4, and both #4/#5. What is the best way to achieve the #1 spot for all these keywords? The main keyword that I used to build the site is currently the #2 spot. Do I need to put up 1 new post for each of the other 3 terms and submit them to article directories to move them up?
