    Be strict and make your rules of business and stick to them. Don't believe on anyone on the internet. Don't spam your customers and make some good relationships to keep them forever. :)

    I have run several e commerce store in different niche.
    Since the site begin,i took the initiative to coperate with other same niche e store to help each other.
    Well it pay off finally coz one of my site sold for $60k+ 2 years ago.

    The biggest issues I faced were: security, spam and shipping/handling

    Make sure you have a process or policy for everything before going live.
