I haven't signed up for AdWords yet but I have some questions I hope you can answer: 1. Can you exclude certain sites from showing your ad? If yes, how many domains can you block? 2. Is there a website that maintains a list of so called spammy, keyword, or scraper sites that tries to cheat advertisers?
Google gives you the option of site exclusion for content ads. With this you can individually list sites you do not want your ad to appear on. But, you have to know the domain of all the site that you want to exclude. The other option is when you first create a campaign, you can select not to have the ad displayed on any Adsense content pages. My question is why would you not want your ad showing up? I've used Adwords since January and have received quite a few actual sales from content ads. And, Google does a pretty good job placing ads on relevant sites that match the theme of your site with the content of the host site. About the list, I'm sure there is somewhere. But, I don't know of one. Just monitor your bids and budget on Adwords. It can get costly quick!! David
Opps.. That should have been "Questions for AdWords Users". Anyway, what's the limit on number domains can be excluded? Also since there doesn't seem to be a website that helps out AdWords users by giving them suggested domains to exclude, I might just go ahead and build one.
if you do adwords, buy a one time $50 or $100 credit from ebay. Gets you free money to advertise with. Also I suggest getting adwords analyzer. It's $19.95 per month, but you can use it for a month and cancel
1) yes you can do it NO LIMIT 2) i don't know about website. But i can give you my own proven list of cheaters ( little harsh word ).
It would be a different set of sites for every market. If you build a list of sites you're excluding in your market the only people that would help would be your competitors...
