Questions about Windows 7 Beta

    I have a few questions about Windows 7 Beta, and perhaps you could help!

    I am currently using WinXP Home Edition, and I want to *try* Beta 7. I have an external HDD (320gb) and I wanted to know if its possible to install windows 7 on to the hard drive, instead of overwriting my current drive that XP and all of my files is on.

    Also, if I can do this, how will I choose to boot up? Also, in case of flaws, how would I uninstall Win7? Just format the drive?

    Thanks! I have changed my mind about Windows 7 now. I learned that it will be disabled in August :(
