Questions about video posts

Hi all,

I want to make some video posts in my blog but not so sure how to start,

I mean I need to know from you:

What is the best video format to use? (I'm using blogspot)
What size (in pixel and file size) is the best for the video?

How are you going to be embedding your videos, will you be using YouTube or a similar service?

 

Yes I'm thinking of using YouTube, but not sure about the things I asked above.
Last time I made video recording, it sized to 30-50 mb, is that too large?

Youtube is .flv

Just use the embed code supplied with the video on Youtube or you can get a plugin for Wordpress which means you only need to embed the url.

My own website (see sig) uses the wordpress video plugin - it works really well.

You typically don't need to worry too much about video formats if you are using YouTube -- it will take pretty much whatever video format you throw at it, and convert it to FLV for you.
