I am curious how do I post in the contests forum?

I have a contest that I have running at sitpoint offering $300 for a coded html design and since I am notgetting the turnout I expected I thought I would let the members here know.

am I able to do this?

You should go to SitePoint and ask them.

I'm a bit confused on your question. But if you mean that you are running a contest at SitePoint, don't like the results there, but want to post in the contest section here then you have to close the contest at SitePoint(I don't think they allow for you to host the same contest on other sites), make 25 posts here, wait two weeks, and then post at the Contest forum.

    Why not ask them?

You have to remove your contest in their forum first before you choose to post that same contest here. What if somebody wins it there too? You would have to pay $600 then.

Ok I understand. No Chooseme I seen in other threads where people were allowed to let other members know about the contest running at Sitepoint, thus letting others submit. If I was to run it here yes I would close teh other or what for it to expire.

However I think the 25 posts thing is going to be difficult seeing as I am hoping to have the design and site up in less than that time frame.

I dont post here cause I dont have much to add with you guys (somewhat out of the league so to speak) however I joined back in Mar.

Anyway, thank you for your help. I think after this thing with sitepoint if it doesnt pan out I may just turn and hire someone instead.

    Thanks guys!

You may also wish to raise your prize money (click on "Edit Contest Details").

If you look at the category that you posted in, you'll see you're one of the lowest paying contest holders... There's 13 contests on the first page that are offering more than you are, 1 offering less, and one offering the same.
