1) What is Google PageRank?

2) The higher the better or the lower better? (ex. is PR1 better than PR3? Or vice versa)

I have the toolbar already installed, so how do I find my PR from there?

 

Okay, my old one didn't have it, so I installed the new one. Working fine.

So how do you improve the pagerank?

 

To improve PR, you need to build your backlinks. The better PR your backlink is, the higher your PR will be. However, please wait in the next PR update to see your "current PR" in the google toolbar. I guess I should have kept reading further down - I just asked how to improve page rank. I still have a question -- what are back links? and how do you get them?

I assume they are when someone else places my link on their site? Is there an easier way? It is hard to get ppl to agree to put your link on their site.

 

1. PR is a way that google shows how important a page is in there eyes. A link to your site from another counts as a vote the more votes you get for your site from authority sites the better your rankings will be. Don't worry about PR that much.

2.The higher your PR is the better.

3. download the google toolbar.

You have to enable a setting in Google Toolbar instep to show PR:
Click on 'settings' button and then on 'options' to show the options dialog...
at the top there few buttons click on 'more' and then make sure to mark the 'PageRank and...' check box.

 

page rank is shows how much popular your website is and you can get pr rank once it popular

I use Toolbar to check my pr..

 

1. PR is a standard create by google to determine how important your website
2. The highest is better....PR10 is the best
3. Use google tool or searchstatus can check it

PageRank is a number given by Google. Based on the number of PageRank of sites linking to a page. It is really meaningless though.

The higher the better, but no number is good for anything since it doesn't mean anything.
