You should choose mods as you need them, and only pick the members who are dedicated to the community. It depends on how big your site is, but if it's just starting out then maybe they should dedicate about 20-30 minutes a day posting on the forums to try and bring the community to life.

Moderation is a voluntary thing, unless you decide to pay the mods (which I assume you do). I can't really help you with those two questions as I never paid people to moderate my forum.

Choose the members that contribute the most and seem mature enough to handle moderating.

2.how much the time per day should the moderators stay in the site
It all depends on how much the forum needs moderators. I do think they should be very active members of the community before they can become moderators.

3.Do you get money for moderating the forum or as it is an ad revenue sharing forum you get a 100% revenue for your posts / 4.If you get paid , how much do you get paid
Can't answer these question.. as Pandemix mentioned, most forums don't pay their moderators.

Just be very careful when picking moderators, untrustworthy moderators can cause a lot of trouble.

I am a mod at a different forum (not this one!) and do it for free because I get a kick out of deleting spam, banning spammers, and helping out whenever possible. I don't want your money for this because I don't want to feel obligated to spend XXX hours/day on the web site. IMO you should select mods from around the globe so that your site has 24/7 coverage.
