Although I've made money off landing pages in the past, I never figured out: how can I get landing pages built, that will convert well? How do I know what converts well? whats the goal of a landing page?
If you are looking for google adwords then you really need to make sure that your landing page should have pages like contact us, privacy policy, unique content and more can be found at http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=47884 Now in terms of appeal, i would say just use call to action phrases more and have video of the product that you are promoting. video generally tends to work well rather than just content.
Make landing page quite relevant to the anchor text keywords you can add case study, white paper, avoid Words like “Buy,†"Click Here" “Add to Cart†or Subscribe.
Also use any kind of of material to make you legit. A picture, icop, small business associations and make your prospects trust you. Landing pages first started out as just a way to make google happy for adwords ads. No direct linking to your offers. These days, with the web being more social than ever, visitors are more needy of their trust in you to want to just fill in an offer form. Just like in your sig. Makes me want to check out SaleHoo.
The goal of landing page is contacting you or placing an order directly. So there should be contact information and place to place an order. What's more, make it more related to the keyword and that will make it more targeted. You don't know what is the best way,but at least you can work toward a right direction.I think it's enough.
Well, as with most problems you can solve by just paying someone for a good landing page But, just make it as attractive as possible and follow the people aboves advice
