Hi, I have some questions about referring firefox

    1. how many referral ads for firefox are we allowed to place on one page
    2. are we allowed to put some text(something like "download firefox for FREE") just above the "referral ad"
    3. do you think the guys at Google or the one at Firefox would mind if I would use some of the text and images from the official firefox site to promote firefox?

    Thanks for your time

    1) They just increased it - but i dont remember .. i only use one
    2) Yes - Google recently clarified this (ehem.. and used my website as an example in their webpages)
    3) That's a sticky one - I was curious about the same thing but was worried about it because of trademark issues, etc.. i created a page that looks like a mozilla page, but with my own images, etc..

    1. You are allowed 2 referral buttons for each different referral product on any given page.
    2. Yes, you are allowed to recommend the referral products within reason. It's okay to say something like 'Mozilla Firefox is a great browser and I recommend it to you' but avoid saying something like 'click here make me dollars'. Maybe read my recent blog post about this.
    3. As Tearabite says, tricky this one - you don't want to be accused of impersonating Mozilla if you use too much FF branding. Bear in mind the Google and Mozilla obviously have some sort of deal together.
