    Hello DP friends,

We are hearing everyday that Google has banned for example a website. But I would like to discus about these questions:

-Why does Google ban some websites?
-How can you know that your website has been banned?
-Is there any way to get back to the search engine that Google accepts your website again as a serious website?

Google bans websites that try to cheat them to get better rankings, or to deceive users.

The usual way to tell if a site is banned is if you get no results when you use the site: operator to look for pages from the site in Google's index.

If your site has been banned or penalized, you can file a reconsideration request through the Google Webmaster Tools console. But before you do that, you should go over your site and make sure it follows Google's Webmaster Guidelines at http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769

What that means if Google Robots does not come back to your website for indexing after many days, when it used to be at least every 3 days?

Google will ban websites that attempt to use deceptive ways to manipluate search results and\or web page's Pagerank value.

First would be a no traffic from organic Google search results, second would be your website being de-indexed and then competely removed from the index. You sometimes also recieve a message inside Google Webmasters Central.

Correct the things you did to get banned in the first place and submit a re-inclusion request inside of Google Webmasters Central.

your site might get banned if you are involved in selling links via payperepost or reviewme etc....paid review...
you can save yourself by using nofollow for your outgoing links... specially when you review sites and post their links or sell links...

    Thanks...

Paid links can be a reason for banning sites. There are other things like, illegal content on sites like movies, songs, games etc download sites.
