I had some questions/suggestions about Digg 1) Are the links on Dogg "do follow" - so can they help my link popularity? 2) What are some tips/strategies for getting my story on Digg to get more Diggs? 3) What some some tips/strategies to get my story to be viewed by more users on Digg? Like, how could I get it to the front page of the sub-category it is submitted too? thanks in advance for your suggestions
1 links on digg are dofollow 2 well ask your visitors in a polite way "if you like my article/news/whatever please digg it" 3 good story with relevant content (or if your evil a proxy clicker to keep it up)
1. Links on Digg are NOFOLLOW. 2. Get a "famous" Digg user to post the story for you. Make the content real real good. 3. Same as above.
A "dofollow" link simply does not contain the attribute rel=nofollow. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nofollow
Links on Digg do follow. But you won't get any love from the Digg community if you continually submit your own content. Try to get someone else to submit your content, and make it attention-worthy.
Getting on the front page of Digg will bring in HUGE amounts of traffic. The best way other than getting 200 mutuals and shouting all day would probably be to use a service like DiggPirates.com which lets you exchange Diggs. Earn points on that site and then spend it all on one really good article. Good luck!
1) Yes Digg links are "do follow" - so it can easily help to your link popularity 2) You should try to connect with your story related people and share your story with them. 3)By visiting individually your story related user, by sending him friend request and sharing your story with him you can get more viewed to your story as well as vote.
I know people who use to be heavy in the Digg community - but I've never heard of DiggPirates.com. Gonna have to check that out. Thanks for the tip!
