questions about channels and WWW

    when setting up a channel Does it matter if you include(www)

    www.somesite.com or somesite.com

    will they both track seperately or the same or will you get overlap?

    but what if i do www for one and no www do they track the same??

    Which one is all inclusive or is both?


    from what i ahve read.... www.somesite.com will not capture all but somesite.com will.

    I use both, for specific purposes. I have a forum which uses adsense, so I use forums.domain.com and then for my main site, I use www-enforce so everyone HAS to visit www.domain.com. That way I can track for each specific domain and as well I can protect my PageRank by enforcing all links, even links to domain.com, to count as a www.domain.com link.

    well somesite.com catches all including www.somesite.com

    www.somesite.com does not count if someone goes to somesite.com .... so if you want to catchall clicks to your site dont use www
