Questions about canonical tag

    i have some questions followed:

    1、Canonical tag pass PR and anchor text and all link juice?

    2、Can i use canonical for completely different pages? if i use canonical tag in some inner pages <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.example.com"/> so my front page will get very high rank and high PR?
