Questions about banned users

    Can anyone tell me how to check what is the reason of a user banned from DP? I am about to do business with "Talker and Spider man" but I found they are already banned on DP and thread closed and I dont know the reason of why? Perhaps mods can setup a thread for banned users and the reason getting banned. For us easy to do research on what bad offers they did to victims.

    The banned user will see a message set by the mods when they attempt to login. Mods/Admins can see this also through the modcp but not ordinary users.

    I see.. if the reason of banned is small then is unfair and I guess this will bring the seller very hard to do business again on DP.

    I am about to send money to Talker(he has itrader over 150), can mod let me know why the reason he getting banned?

    My suggestion is if the user getting banned, can mods just slightly write note on his thread about why he is getting banned. So everyone knows he/she has unfinished deals with people or cheating etc.

    The only way that you could know why a member is banned is if he tells it to you himself.

    Mods will not disclose such information.

    I see. but generally we trust admin DP rather than sellers. Someone can be good to you but turn out to be scammer very fast. But I heard my friends told me, even you have multiple accounts on DP, it will gets you banned too. So my concern is if Talker is banned because of having multiple accounts or have more than 10 infraction points, I think is ok to do business with him. Unless he is cheating people or have unfinished deals.

    So is it better that we have an unresolved action thread for seller/buyer to settle their unfinished deals. So everyone knows what is going on. If just ban and lock the thread, we dont know what happen and if we just sent the money to him and we lost PM contact with him afterwards. So its a total lost on both sides.

    My suggestion is if the user getting banned, under his nick write a simple note the reason getting banned. example banned "scammer", banned "10+ infraction points", banned "multiple accounts".. Is more easier for us to do the research then.

    The mods aren't obligated to give you a reason why someone is banned. As suggested above, the only way you can find the answer is to ask the member him/herself and hope he tells the truth ;)
