hi, read a lot about article spinning recently and wanted to know how safe it is? do the articles pass any kind of checks e.g copyscape? is this thought of as grey hat seo and is it something you can get banned for? do you find it effective,personally i am not a strong writer so was thinking of it to help my niches. thank guys
As long as you spin per sentence, not just per word then you should be fine. You should always check that the articles are readable and pass copyscape anyway.
The latest jetspinner enhancements can shuffle and drop sentences automatically, which stops analysis of 'shingle ordering'. If your spinner doesn't support the enhancements, find a new one.
I spin all of my articles by hand because that seems to be the only way they come out good. It takes more time, but I think it's worth it in the end.
If you spin it by hand (write all of the alternates yourself) then it usually works pretty well. Automated spinners usually suck. One thing I do is use articlequeen.com to help me pick alternate words. It has a thesaurus that suggests alternates. Then I rewrite and spin some more by hand. I'd say it's a grey hat. But the good news is that duplicate articles with backlinks to your site on on others sites wont hurt you, it just won't count as much for SEO. Google can't punish you if there are a hundred identical articles out there because it can't know if you put em there or if someone else did trying to get you in trouble. They'll just be worthless. Spun articles on your site is a different story. If all the articles are to similar, Google will pick only one article to index. if they are all really similar and you are making thousandths of them, than google might ban you
normally the software that is out there for automatically spinning articles aren't very effective. If you spin each article and each sentnce by hand you will guarantee that your articles will be unique and safe. With regards to copyright infringment you want to make sure that if you are using someone elses article to spin that you have created a completely unique article that can't be traced back to the original article. The only way you can get in trouble is if you copy other people's articles without changing them up or adding more content to the article. You might get your account banned from the article directory site but you wont get yourself into too much trouble as long as you don't make a habit of stealing other peoples content. Spinning articles is really effective if you do it by hand and if you aren't a great content writer then spinning articles is even more attractive.
