I frequent the marketplace of DP and I noticed that many people are selling bulk articles at very cheap prices. And, it appears that most of the articles are unique and copyscape-passed. With that said, I'm curious to know how this is possible. How can someone make money selling these unique articles for so cheap? Where do these people get these articles? Are these articles really unique and original? I have no interest in becoming an article seller, but I am curious to try out some of these articles. However, I want to make sure these articles are truly unique and well-written. Please advise, Steve
Maybe QUALITY (or the lack thereof) has something to do with it. Unique and original are totally separate from the more important question: Is the content USEFUL? Sometimes, the money you save upfront is outweighed by the money you have to spend to fix the content. Just my 2 cents on this issue.
You will notice that a lot of the article writers are from india/pakistan Now i have nothing against them at all but the reason that they can and will write so cheaply is because $2-5 dollars in their country goes a long way. I have an Indian friend who writes articles all day then uses the money when he goes back to india to visit friends
I think webmasterlabor.com hit the nail on the head with quality. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys. Likewise if you pay someone 10 cents per 1000 words you'll probably get someone with broken English as their tenth language, who doesn't give a stuff about the fluency or accuracy of their work. CountryBoy on target yet again.
Some member can offer very cheap price because the living standard at their country is lower. Full time article writer can write 5X500 article per day, assuming it cost $20/days which is good income at certain country. Of course, some of them are low quality or scammer
I'll add a couple of other things. With due respect to most people here, many of them do not know good content even if bites them in the ass. I've seen threads where a guy offers his articles for sale ( despite his writing being truly atrocious), and gets positive reviews from everyone in the thread. Then somebody who knows English comes along, orders an article, and tears it apart. The OP accuses the buyer of "scamming him", and the buyer is left scratching his head as to why the rest of the people thought his articles were good. Because they are unable to judge whether an article is truly good, they use the other two parameters- the article should be unique and it should pass copyscape. As Choice said, most of these writers are either from the Indian sub continent or South East Asia.
You get..what you pay for! Having said that, not all cheap articles are thrash just as not all expensive ones are master pieces! It would be wise to select a writer whose writing suits your sensibilities... through trial and error method and stick with him/her. After all, long term association has its benefits as well!
