    Hello Everybody:

Could someone please explain this Google Term...
(No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.)

I know what it means to an extent, but I read some places that it shouldn't be placed on forum Welcome or Login Pages or pages with just links.

If it's a vBulletin forum, wouldn't the Welcome - Login page & say the Archive entrance page be considered a non-content-based page, or do they mean like a blank page or a page with just an image on it which is very understandable.

But I see other people say not to put it on a links only page, so it's a little confusing because like I said above that's all a Welcome - Login page & a Archive entrance page is, it's just a links page?

Sorry it's just a little confusing & I'm asking here because I see it done on this forum. I'm not trying to start any problems here, maybe I just didn't find where it says it's OK to be put on those types of pages?

    Thank You for Your Time!

Who knows exactly what Google mean by non-content-based as a non-content-based page could mean a few things.

I suggest making a test page with your ads and email the Adsense team to see if its ok.
