I run a real estate blog in Boston, and of course I'm always monitoring the competition for SEO purposes There's this site, "FordRealty dot net"... they come up very high for the keyword "Boston Real Estate" While looking up their backlinks, I found something interesting: protype.ca breakthroughcareersolutions.com midwestactionteam.com These are 3 of 100's of backlinks they have... that all have articles with a backlink to their site with the anchor "Boston Real Estate". The thing is, you can't add any articles to these sites.... The other strange thing.... ALL of these sites also have a link to MISSOULA MT REAL ESTATE..... which appears to be a real estate agency in Montana It looks like they've teamed up, possibly with some agencies in some other states... and are creating 100's of these websites for backlinks What's your take on this??? I have to check the whois info on these sites and do some more research!!!
Appears that your competitor has bought reviews/links from a blog network. There are plenty of such folks advertising in link sales forum in DP
they could have put articles in EzineArticles or some other place like that people will pick up those articles and put on there site.
Hey Zingo I thought that originally... until I saw that Missoua MT real estate in every single page as the Boston MA co. .... they definitely teamed up..... bought some sort of blog network or whatever as the person above mentioned
if you look at BST forum here on DP, you will see lot of people are selling blogposts on individual blogs and posts on blog networks. also, there are some professional SEO companies who have their own network of sites/blogs on which they add links for their clients.
