I have a website that consists of an articles section for art work. Authors can post their art work and others may comments on them. For each article the author leaves a link to their work to it is theirs. Also for each article posted on my site there is part that reads, "Article Source." Once this is clicked on it takes visitor back to my articles home page. I changed this a few days ago and noticed my search engine rankings greatly improved. This would NOT be looked at as spam, would it? You never know with search engines now a days. They tell you to link to pages using H1 or H3 or what not, yet you worry they might think you are spamming.
