    It's been a while,

    but anyways,

When there is a hidden (white link/white background) on a website referring to my website, do I have the risk of having MY website banned from google?

    Thanks in advance,
    Maurits

No, but you would not want to link to sites that do this.

You'll want to play it safe with Google. The rewards of Google are potentially too lucrative to ignore in regard to long term revenue. It is easy to get shut out of the game without even making a blunder of your own. They don't play around.

Bottom-line, master as many strategies of optimization and linking as you can. Especially in regard to obtaining back links. The payoff will be long term rather than quick cash, however you won't have to worry everytime you open your email.

    Ciao,
