i was wondering why do you need to verify your paypal account if it works properly without verifying it ?????

what happens after you verify.

1)- You have limits in place (like you can't send more than $500)
2)- Most of the sites accept only verified PayPal buyers
3)- Verified PayPal account is trusted unlike un-verified account
4)- You can't withdraw to a bank account/credit card without verifying it (This means you can't turn PayPal money to Real cash unless you exchange with someone else)

There are lots of other reason why people verify their accounts.

 

Yes, absolutely correct.
More over, you are more trustable if you are a verified paypal member and have a good sellers reputation.
So get it verified asap but not with VCC but with real credit card.

 

why not VCC isnt it the exact same thing?

 

you can use VCC no problem in that... many are using...

 

Only Problem you could have with a VCC is that if PayPal asks you for Credit card statement you won't be able to provide that and PayPal can then lock your account and you would be unable to unlock your account.

You will have to wait 180 days (6 months) before they allow you to withdraw your money via cheque.
