    Hi!

I got a question: Are the external links, displayed in Google Webmastertools the indexed links google uses to calculate the pagerank?

Google will use some but not all of them. It will look at relevance or the link, and where the link is coming from.

It is to soon to tell. I have about 11 major sites under Webmaster Tools and it appears that the links reporting in WT are what will be used. The toolbar one are now BS.

As WPOSolutions said "relevance" is the only factor then.

Note: The "internal" links are very important here as well. It shows you how deep and accurate the index has been. It appears that it reflects the last 5 days index (my sites are indexed ~once a week).
