If I modify a template in proportion of 80% or more, I only keep it's table structure.. and even that is a bit modified.. is it still called capyrighted?

    i think so...

    possibly it depends

did the template come with a css attached?

in cases like this my question would be if you're modifying a template by 80% why not just start out fresh and redo the extra 20% so that you know it's not copyrighted.

If you're keeping the majority of the same css callouts then I would for sure say yes. Even if you've modified the specific elelments, they're still retaining the same titles which were given to it by the original author. So when, for instance you make a call to a stylesheet tage of p.somethingtheoriginalauthortitled you're still making the call to the authors original title for that element.
