[Question] Will big payments to your paypal set off a flag?

I was wondering if I were to all of a sudden receive a couple hundred dollars to my paypal account would my account be flagged as suspicious and required information verification?
I have a standard personal use account so I thought receiving big payments would fall under business or so category. Thanks in advance.

No, anything under 500$ is not a big deal specially if your account is old. But if its new then they might ask for additional verification. :)

You're not supposed to be selling at all under on a personal or premier account, so if the transaction looks like it is commercial in nature they can put a hold on the account no matter the transaction value. Typically a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars wouldn't cause a hold on a business account. You're most likely to have an account reviewed when withdrawing rather than accepting a sale.

Ah. There are two contradicting posts lol. My account is a personal one and I've had it for almost 2 years. I'm expecting a payment of maybe 50-250 every now and then. Do you think they will flag it?
