Question To Those Who Have A December PIP Already

    1) What form of payment? EFT, Western Union, or regular paper check.

    2) What Country are you in?

I am just trying hard to get a bead on this.

I looked back at the same kind of thread last month. The same people who said they got a PIP on Nov. 22 last month are saying PIP early again this month. We here in the USA didn't get a PIP until November 26th, FOUR DAYS after those people claimed that they had a PIP on November 22. If the same holds true this month, we here in the USA will not get a PIP until December 23rd. But that is a Sunday, and Google doesn't issue payments on weekends. Then Monday is Christmas Eve, so even if we get a PIP on Monday, it will not post to the banks until AFTER Christmas because banks are all closed on Tuesday. I am talking about EFT of course.

Yeah you are right, I took that out but was telling the truth. Sorry. Just a little frustrated, I'm fairly new to adsense and don't know how all this works.

If that holds any validity, you need to start managing your finances better or get a second job. I see by your profile that Adsense is your primary source of income, which is definitely not wise on your part. I'm just trying to help you out, as you may be creating the groundwork for a dilemma in the near future.

Yes, well I work in the Entertainment Industry and there is a Writers Guild of America strike going on right now if you haven't heard. And many many people are out of work this holiday season because of it. That is why Adsense is my sole income right now. Maybe some day You will be out of work due to circumstances beyond your control, and some stranger will preach to you about how you should manage your finances better. But I do realize you are attempting to give sound advice here, just be more informed before you start making assumptions about someones financial situation before opening your mouth.

Also, your comment has nothing to do with this thread. Go preach on a street corner somewhere.

    Still no PIP

you should mind your business. You have no idea about the circumstances of someones life. Pretty sure the guy isn't looking to YOU as a life coach.

    To the OP:
This is how it works from my experience: Those in countries other than the US or Canada who are paid by check generally get "PIP" and "payment issued" first. "Payment issued" for these folks means the check has been printed and most likely mailed out. But most still won't get the check till after Christmas. Those with EFT get "PIP"s and "payment issued" later because the actual payment process takes a lot less time. Not sure what will happen this year, but I didn't receive my EFT payment till Dec 26 last year.

I gave up and went and returned a bunch of dog toys that I had bought for Christmas presents for my dogs. And if anyone has dogs and shops at Petco, you know I got more than a few bucks back! Hey the dogs won't know the difference if Santa Claus comes AFTER Christmas :p

At least we can eat until I get paid. Now I'm going to plow down a 12-pack of Old Milwaukee Beer.

Good Luck To Everyone on the PIP. None here yet in California.

    Happy Holidays,

    Alan

Which is exactly why I diversify my investments and sources of income; thereafter multiplying the income I generate from several sources (online being only a passive one). Obviously, others' advice holds little importance to you (even if they are gaining absolutely nothing in return), so I would rather not waste my time going into details. Good luck in your endeavours; may you have ten-folds more success in the future! :)
