Ok... I've a had a few websites and they've all sucked.... barely made back my cost. Now I was wondering if anyone would like to share what kind of website they have (pre-made script like a arcade script or CMS script, just content no php programming, or a custom script) and how they have made... because to be honest I think the custom script (meaning you payed somone to make it for you) have the highest earning potential. So please help us out and show us how youve done. (MAybe also post average monthy adsense income [or daily if it is really high])!!! THANKS
Heavily customized open source cms's have high potential too. But the problem about portals and forums is that you need a lot of intitial traffic to get it rolling. No one wants to post in empty forum and the forum will be empty if no one posts there. Also a new approach is recommended to make money from this. Hope this helped a little...
What were you doing to make money from your sites? My adsense site made me $9 yesterday. Varies from $2-$15 a day. It is a free wordpress theme that is adsense optimized and I paid someone to put a picture in the banner area to customize it, and then wrote dozens of ezinearticles and some for Associated Content, to drive traffic to it.
