Hi all, I would like to ask you what are the biggest differences between Text Links and banners. Banners are not indexed by search engines at all? Do you know about some quality article to this topic? Thanks.

it depends on a number of things really..

text links are good, but if a site has several hundred links it can be hard to find yours.

banner links can contain alt text which is good for search engines. Also, if your banner looks great it will get clicks. If it looks rubbish, it wont. Still, it stands out better than a text link in my opinion.

text links are often cheaper to buy than banners.

So its a matter of budget, quality, and traffic requirements

    Thanks for your suggestion,
If text link is added on partner's website we can use Anchor text(title) to build stronger possition for our keywords, can we apply this also in banners? If you understand me I need to check couple of articles or blogs regarding this to find informations if banner is not indexed by G spiders at all..

on banner link you can add <a href=''yourlink'' title=''here add what kind of keywords you want from search engines to find you'' target=''_blank''>IMAGE HERE</a>

i mean, play with tags on your title :)
