Is it fine if I promote my affiliate offers by Yahoo answers? I mean is this allowed? Obviously I'll not post any spam..
I'm pretty sure it's allowed. The only reason why I don't use Yahoo! Answers is because they stopped allowed links in their replies. I'm pretty sure you also need to reach a certain level of replies before your links are actually hyperlinks.
Yea.. you should be at level 2 for posting links.. But I was not sure if you can post your affiliate links their.. Anyways thanks for your help

They are very strict in this case. If they consider your links as spam, they will ban you from yahoo answers. I think you can post links for reference only. I don't think they allow affiliate links(I am not 100% sure about this).
Yes. you can use yahoo answer, but your answer should be related to the question and you should attain certain level to have live links on yahoo answers section.
I set up a pre sell page related to my product, with useful answers to commonly asked questions. This pre sell is always a blog, with useful info, and affiliate, or landing page links. Make sure you try, or appear to try and provide information that is useful to the question. My sig is one I've been testing for a bit, hence the cloaked links I'm using. I was going to put up my own landing page for this product, but it doesn't seem to be converting well. Check it out. I'm only sharing this because the product doesn't seem to convert well. Lots of views, and hundreds of clicks. For those of you that are new...I put my sig link in my yahoo answers. Feel free to look at it, examine how the links progress from informative useful ones, down to my sales page aff links. If they start converting in the first 50 views or so, I will set up a landing page in one of my domains, or use a free host depending on the estimated conversions.
How annoying are you? If people hit the 'report spam' button enough you'll get flagged. Just don't be too annoying and help people out and your account will be ok.
