Question related to wordpress

    I have a site created on wordpress. Now I want to add goolge analytic code in my home page should I paste the code directly with the home page html code OR there is any other method to paste google analytic code in wordpress.

    I read out some articles I think we need to upload some google analytic plugins over there but not confirm:eek:

    Look, coding may get bad if pasted from one place to another. First of all enable your wordpress plugin and then copy the code and paste in NOTEPAD first. Then copy from NOTEPAD and paste in wordpress. If you directly copy and paste in wordpress, then you might get some code manipulations.

    You can either add the Google analytics code to the footer.php file in your wordpress distribution, or you can use wordpress plugin called Ultimate GA. It handles the analytics code for you.

    if you are using All in one SEO plugin then no need to put manually.. coz there is option of google analytic code

    You can use Ultimate Google Analytics plugins. This plugin easily adds your Google Analytics tracking code to all pages within your blog. This plugin adds the possibility to tag and segment all outgoing links, so you can see whether a click came from a comment or an article.

    You can use a plugin called WP DB Backup which gives you a backup of your wordpress site for this purpose.
