Question related to content update

I always hear that keep updating content for SEO advantage!

My question is do you have to update content withing a page by editing or adding something or you have to add new pages in your website?

For myself, I'd like to post some new articles.

 

If you use wordpress, make a new post, or get someone to comment on an existing post. Will work best if the page is SEO'd properly of course. Wordpress users can use the free SEOpressor equivalent from bloggerhigh.com to make sure each post is automatically SEO top quality.

 

They mean update like a blog keep putting new content, not necessarily going back and changing content, although sometimes that seems to help

 

Don't update the content every week as this will put u at a risk

when people talk about fresh content, they are not talking about adding new pages, but rather updating content on already indexed pages.

 

Nope! Reference is to adding content in whatever form i.e. new pages/posts, comments on existing pages/posts, update to existing pages/posts.

 

Update your site at least once every 4-5 days. That means add more pages/posts. Just don't keep your site dead.
I always add at least 1 post per day to my blog.

 

You can do it both ways, depending on what the situation calls for.
