Question regarding Title tag

here is a question regarding 2 Title tags on a single page:

1: <meta name="title" content="xyz" />

2: <title>xyz - abc - etc</title>

can we use both at a time or if not then which one is best?

 

Use <title>xyz - abc - etc</title>


Works like a charm in all the browsers

 

<title> tag is the best and always recommended option

 

I thinks the 2 option is better option than the 1 option.

You might go with the second option as since it has the maximum possibility of covering you keywords than the first one..

 

I just learn that <title> is better than <meta title> I thought i am going to inquire why it is the choice but i thing <title> is basic HTML and acceptable to all browser

 

Yes, <title> is way better and more common.
