Question regarding replies

I have searched the FAQ but could not find the answer to my question. Hope this is the right place to ask.

I have replied to a couple of threads. When I look at the thread picture, one reply was to the original poster of the thread as intended. Another reply was to one of the other posters rather than to the original poster.

How did I post to a poster other than the original poster? More directly, how do I control who exactly I am replying to?

    Thanks

You can use the "quote" function which is at the right bottom of the post. Just "quote" the thread/post you like to answer.

As lifeplayer staed the quote functions allows you to focus your reply to one particular participant in thread.

One thing to watch out for is to be sure you do not reply to a thread hijacker. Suppose thread starter posts I am selling my signature link for x dollars per month. Another poster slips in and says, I will sell my signature link for y dollars. The person selling their signature for y dollars is hijacking the thread. In no circumstances should you reply to hijacker. If you see someone hijack a thread, please click on the bad post report icon, [IMG], and alert us.
