I just give the refund...you don't want to burn your bridges with Paypal...I need them more than they need me!
In the dispute (resolution center) there is 'Refund' option as well so you have to just tick that option so paypal system know that you are ready to give refund to the buyer. Have you checked resolution page for your dispute ? DON.
chargeback and dispute are two different things... one a chargeback is made then you cant do anything other then waiting for the card issuer to take the money from you alone with there fees.... but in paypal dispute, you cant refund if a dispute have been setup.... you have to refund before the dispute i guess... but it is possible to stop chargeback and dispute on paypal and your buyer cant do either on you... just google search for stop paypal frauds of stop paypal reversal and you may find your answer how to stop them.... i use to have the same problem but since i use some new ways i haven't lost a single cent... so just google it... as you know those who seek will find....
