Question regarding directory announcement

    Hi guys!

    I have a free reciprocal PR6 directory within my site (sub-domain) but I am not sure if I can announce it at "Solicitations & Announcements" section.

    "This is only for sites that are only directories, not sites that have a directory somewhere within them."

    Please help me out.

    There are a lot of "those type" of announcements there, so I don't see a problem.
    In any case and if you're not sure, then the best thing to do is to submit your thread and report it yourself asking for the mod to delete it if not appropriate.
    No one will flame you for that. ;)

    Odd rule. Definately gets ignored though. I can't imagine why this rule was implemented as many are on subdomains and folders.

    ie;

    http://directory.google.com/

    :eek:

    I'd say you can do it, if you provide the URL to the directory and not to your mainpage.
