Rules Question regarding advertising on Twitter!

    Hello DP.

    I would like to keep my account here in full standing without any infractions, therefore I would like to know, is it allowed to sell advertising on my Twitter account (selling tweets), and if so, which section would it be in assuming I was charging over $5?

    Excellent, thanks for the swift and informative reply, I agree with the rule however would like to see it relaxed for sites which allow advertising such as Twitter. No problem anyway, thanks again for the very quick reply, it is most appreciated.

    We've talked about relaxing our rules internally with Twitter advertising, but decided against it simply because it becomes when you start adding specific exceptions to things it becomes much harder to enforce as a mod and understand as a user, so for now we just left it "as is".

    Thanks for the reply Shawn. Yes, I could see why it would be a difficult task for Moderators. To have the rule for one social networking site, but not another, would be very difficult to manage and could potentially confuse a lot of members and Moderators alike, which means mistakes could be made. I understand the decision fully.
