I've been using PayPal for almost 4 years now and I've been sending money from PayPal to my bank account thrice a month. I just want to ask if I can add the bank account of my brother in my own personal PayPal account so I'll be able to send money to him directly to his bank account? Anyone already tried it or using it now?
No, you can't do this. You can only add bank accounts which match with your PayPal name. But you can make a Paypal account for your brother and add his account there.
Then better transfer money online from your bank account to his via bank transfer facility. It should be there in your bank.
No, you can not.....PayPal account must match the name on your bank account.... I dont think he must use CC...
My PP account is named to my wife since she was the one who had a CC first, and I was able to add bank accounts opened with my name later without any problem. That was about two years ago. I think what PP needs is that the last name on the bank account matches what is on Paypal.
If what you say is correct... I guess I can withdraw funds from my Paypal account into any of my family member's bank account! Is it really possible? Having never tried it myself... I am really confused. Regards, RightMan
I am confused with this as well. But have you noticed why paypal giving us option to edit first name at the time of withdrawal ? Any reason behind that ? DON.
Yes, she has the same last name as mine. Also, have you noticed that whenever you want to add a new account, you have the option of changing the first name but not the last name? This must be the reason why I was able to add my bank account on her PP. Hope this helps. Take note that I did this about two years ago. All my withdrawals are made to my bank account too. PS: Best screenshots I can provide.
Can you take a screen shot of the history so we'll be able to know if you actually was able to withdraw it using your name..
