If a Clickbank merchant has a free report on the front page, a squeeze page if you will, how do i know if I will get paid as an affiliate? How is this tracked? Cookies?
To determine that you need to sign up to the email list and check out the report and links in emails. If they are "neutral" (non-affiliate links), you'll be paid up to 60 days after someone clicked the hoplink. If they contain an affiliate link, dump him. If the report or email contain a link that doesn't look like an affiliate link (like a php page), still check them. First go through your hoplink and make sure your name is on the order page. Then click on the links in the emails and report and go to the order page, then see if your name appears there. If the name changes and you suspect it's because of the emails or report, say good bye to the merchant. nadavs
