Currently I got this niche site which I'm SEO optimizing by posting articles with backlinks on various article sites such as ezine etc. Until now I've rewritten the article for each article site thus posting a unique article on every site. However I started to wonder, is it really necessary to rewrite the articles for each site? I mean will google punish me for posting the same article on all the article sites? I'm really courious here, and I feel like there is no need for me to rewrite every article tons of times if I can just submit the very same article on all the sites. Looking forward to your replies, thanks in advance! - Ambassy
If it is just to get your site to move up in ranking, no, you do not need to change your article every time you submit it to another site. The search engines goes by the number of sites that carries your url.
Actually the unique factor does matter. Rewriting, how tedious a job it may be is still recommended. It will boost the ranking of your destination page.
Actually, no. As a good example to go by: There are, God knows how many syndicated articles out there, which has helped the writer of the syndicated articles rank high. The search engines goes by how many other webamasters like that particular site (backlinking). The engines want to show the most popular sites (pages).
True, syndication can help you rank higher because of the back link to your site/page(if the site that uses the feed is any good, or it could even hurt your page/site.), but with unique content on a high pr directory it will go even higher and much faster. And that's only the getting there part. It's like was said in another thread up here. It's the article that gets indexed first that gets the most SE loving.
In this regard, the different way an article is written has nothing to do with ranking. 10 different articles or 10 of the same articles are one in the same in the spider's eyes. It looks for the number of sites carrying Ambassy's url. The more popular his site is, the higher his odds go up in ranking higher. Besides, he will have different articles out there anyway. And Ambassy is not talking about being indexed first.
No it is not the same as copywriting is the art of actually writing something that makes the reader want to stop and purchase something simply because of what he has read
I was warned by an SEO expert that I should NOT submit same articles to different sites, even to the article directories that accept published articles. The only thing that worries me is that, In case I get banned of submitting same articles, how long will it take to get back indexed?
You can do it, just make sure none of the sites that you're submitting to require the content to be exclusive... Otherwise you could run into a few problems.
